I've been looking for an alternative to plastic pods for a while and I'm so glad I found these. Tastes just like gourmet coffee and easy to dispose as well. Excited to try the other flavors.

I wanted to like these because of the compostable feature of the pods. But my Nespresso seems to work harder/longer to pour the same amount of coffee as a non-compostable pod. Also, sometimes some grounds escape the pod in a way that doesn't seem to happen with the non-compostable pods. Finally, the resulting espresso is not as strong or flavorful compared to what I think is a comparable pod from Peets.
I'd love to give these another try when the above has been addressed because all pods should be compostable!!!"

Coffee fanatic here! (I received these espresso pods as part of a free sample program.) I was very excited to try these, but realized I don't have an espresso machine; so, instead, I had to get creative. I started breaking open a pod or two every morning and adding it to my normal coffee brew. It has a great flavor - nice and dark, but not bitter. It really complemented the coffee I added it to well. I would love it if all espresso pods and k-cups came in compostable packaging, so I'm very glad I was sent these! Not only are the pods themselves compostable, but also the box they are packaged in is 100% recyclable! When I eventually do buy an espresso machine, I will definitely be purchasing these. I am a huge fan of environmentally friendly and compostable products that help me reduce my carbon footprint while still enjoying the things I love! Thanks!

I absolutely loved this product. So easy to use and biodegradable so I do not have to worry about proper disposal. Compared to other similar products I have used, this is definitely one of my favorite. I love the classic espresso flavors and bought another box already. This is just the perfect for me to drink every morning. Highly recommend everyone to try at least once.

I received a box of these 24-pods in the mail and it fits perfectly in the Nespress! The flavor is absolutely outstanding and I will definitely be purchasing these in the future and not going to a coffee shop because that is not needed...and you will feel the same way after sampling it! I also love that it comes in a box that is recyclable. I shared these with my friends and they loved it just as much as me.

We are big fans of the nespresso machine and we look for different brands of pods, as the true Nespresso ones can be a bit expensive. This is a great alternative to that expense, and they are completely compostable! As far as the flavor, we found them to be a great home espresso with mild bitterness and great taste! I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for a great alternative to the Nespresso machine pods.

I am so glad that I got to try the Smile Coffee Werks, compostable coffee capsules, Nespresso Original Compatible, Classic Espresso. I loved the rich dark flavor. Having a nespresso compatible machine creates a lot of waste and it is something I think about. I feel good about using these compostable pods because they are easier on the environment.

This coffee is ok and drinkable. The stand out feature of this is that the pods are compost friendly to not fill up out landfills. The coffee flavor is acceptable and enjoyable with your Nespresso machine. There is a slight delay in coffee starting to drip out of your Nespresso and I attribute that to the compostable capsule shape and material. When I use a Nespresso capsule or comparable aluminum capsule the coffee comes out immediately. I can feel good using this coffee capsule though because I know I'm helping to be environmentally friendly. Having a capsule that I can throw into the trash or into my personal compost bin is very smart. Coffee capsules are filling our landfills and not decomposing. Glad to see that Smile Coffee Werks is addressing that and helping to resolve that. Received this as a free product sample program.

These pods are great, sturdy, and fit well in the place of original nespresso pods. My main issue with them is that they are advertised as being compostable, but you can only return them to places that accept commercially compostable products, which is strangely very limited. None of the affordable compost pickup services in DFW accept commercially compostable plastics and other materials, only plant and animal materials.
